Please be informed that all CInTeLL presenters are also part of ICoLLT 2021 which will be held from August 24 to 25, 2021. Therefore, you are invited to join the following events of ICoLLT 2021 (link will be given on the event day):

  5. Plenary Speech (Day 1 & 2)

Video Presentation Guidelines

  1. Although the poster (.pdf) you created will be your main visual aid in your video presentation, you may add animations, short video excerpts, and ppt slides to reinforce your message. A good platform to design your poster include Canva https://www.canva.com/ and Piktochart https://piktochart.com/
  2. You may use applications such as KineMaster, LOOM, Clideo, Handbrake or PowerPoint to record your video presentation.
  3. Generally, participants may include but are not restricted to the following information on the poster:
    1. School/College/University/Organisation logo
    2. Title
    3. Lead Author/Lead Presenter Information and Contact details (e.g., Name, Dept. Contact Information, team members etc.)
    4. Abstract
    5. Introduction/Background/Problem Statement
    6. Objectives
    7. Methodology/Process
    8. Uniqueness/ Novelty
    9. Benefits/Marketability
    10. Target Audience
    11. Publications
    12. Awards and Recognition

  4. You must portray a very high standard of professionalism which include, but not limited to:
    1. Making professional appearance IN the video presentation suitable for the context of the presentation (professional attire, hairstyle, makeup, etc.).
    2. Positioning yourself preferably half of the video frame, side-by-side with your infographic, and making sure your audience will be able to see your upper torso and hand motions while you are presenting. Refer to examples below:

    3. Ensuring that audio quality is loud and clear before video submission. Also, try to minimise distractions and background noise.
    4. Ensuring your video background looks as professional as possible. Avoid cluttered or distracting background.

Judging

  1. The time allocated for the recorded video presentation is 10 minutes and there will be a 5 minutes online Q&A session prior to the event day (if required by the juries).
  2. The video presentation will be assessed by two judges appointed by CInTeLL and ICoLLT steering committee. The judges' decision is final.
  3. The winners of the competition will be announced at 13:00 p.m. and the presenters are required to be present at the time of the announcement.
  4. If you would like to request for additional certificates for your team members, please email us at cintell@ump.edu.my stating your Paper ID after the results are announced.
